SKK,J WP_29816_2016 O R D E R:- The main grievance of the writ petitioners is that in spite of the fact that they made representation dated 12.07.2016 requesting the authorities to afford them an opportunity to participate in the enquiry, file objections at every stage of the land acquisition proceedings and for payment of compensation in pursuance of the Notification dated 24.06.2016 issued by the 2nd respondent notifying to acquire their lands admeasuring various extents in different survey numbers situated in Kukunuru Revenue Village and Mandal, West Godavari District, for the purpose of construction of Polavaram Irrigation Project, so far, respondent Nos.2 to have not considered their representation.
The learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for the respondents has submitted that without considering the representation dated 12.07.2016 they will not initiate further land acquisition proceedings. Keeping in view the averments made in the writ affidavit and the submission of the learned Government Pleader, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent Nos.2 to 4 to consider the representation dated 12.07.2016 said to have been made by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders thereon, in
SKK,J WP_29816_2016 accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate decision that may be taken to the petitioners within a period of one week thereafter and only then proceed further in pursuance of the Notification dated 24.06.2016. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
