HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 14996 OF 2005 ORDER :

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking alternative employment in terms of Section 47 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 and this Hon'ble Court was pleased to grant interim directions on 12.07.2005 to consider the case of the petitioner for alternative employment. The learned Counsel for the respondents contends that in pursuance to the interim orders, the petitioner's case was considered and he was provided alternative employment, vide proceedings dated 6.3.2006 and contends the cause in the Writ Petition does not survives. 2.

In view of the consideration of the petitioner for alternative employment, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive. Accordingly, the same is dismissed.
