Petitioners' grievance is that they made representations dt.22.09.2014 and 29.02.2016 to the 5th respondent for correction of the entries in From IB Register and that the 5th respondent has not passed orders thereon till date.

The Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents states that the petitioners should file appeal under Rule 21 of the Rules framed under A.P. Rights in land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 before the respondents 3 and 4 in respect of the villages which fall within the jurisdiction of the said officials and if such appeals are filed, the respondents 3 and 4 will consider the same after issuing notices to any third party and pass orders within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of presentation of such appeals.

In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to file appeals under Rule 21 of the Rules framed under the above Act before the respondents 3 and 4 in respect of correction of entries in revenue records/Form 1B Register with regard to the lands of the petitioners in the villages which respectively fall within the jurisdiction of the said officials. If such appeals are filed, respondents 3 and 4 shall dispose of the same, after issuing notice to any third parties, whose names are already entered in the said register, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of presentation of such appeals by the petitioners and communicate their decision to the petitioners. There shall be no order as to costs.
4. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
