THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Contempt Case No.1560 of 2012 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed alleging violation of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.25868 of 2011 dated 19.12.2011 whereby the respondents were directed to initiate appropriate criminal proceedings against those involved in the fraudulent transactions, at the earliest, to ensure that such incidents do not recur in future. Learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition, on instructions from the Revenue Divisional Officer, Siricilla, would submit that after completion of the investigation, a charge sheet in C.C.No.266 of 2015 dated 26.03.2015 was filed before the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Vemulawada.

As the directions issued by this Court have since been complied with, I see no reason to proceed against the respondents under the Contempt of Courts Act.

The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed. The Contempt Applications, pending, if any, shall also stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
