The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the second respondent in passing the impugned proceedings No.Field Assistant/ A2/ 2005, dated 29.12.2012 terminated the services of the petitioners without considering the explanation submitted by them, pursuant to the show cause notice dated 15.12.2012, as illegal and arbitrary.

It is stated that subsequent to the interim orders passed by this Court on 09.04.2013, the petitioners are continuing as Field Assistants. Learned counsel for the respondents would submit that they are not taking any steps or initiating any action against the petitioners, pursuant to the interim orders issued and hence no further adjudication is required. 4.

Recording the above submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall also stand closed.
