HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 1991 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A1 to A10 seek to quash the proceedings in CC No. 18 of 2010 on the file of Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Nirmal, Adilabad District, registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 323, 506(ii) and 494 IPC r/w Section 109 IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 19.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Mamada Police Station, Adilabad District and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 22.12.2017 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in CC No. 18 of 2010 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
