Aggrieved by the action of the 2nd respondent - District Collector, Krishna District, Machilipatnam, in not considering the application of the petitioner dated 15.06.2017, for renewal of his arms license bearing No.1/ 2010 (37/ Home/ 2010) of Kanchikacherla, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Since the application of the petitioner dated 15.06.2017 is stated to be pending with the 2nd respondent, the said authority is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
