On 17.4.2018 when the matter was called, as there was no representation on behalf of petitioner, the matter was directed to be listed on 18.4.2018 under the caption of "for dismissal". On 18.4.2018, 19.4.2018 and 23.4.2018, when the matter was listed, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Today also, when the matter came up in the forenoon session, none appeared for the petitioner. The matter was passed over and again taken up in the afternoon session, but there was no representation on behalf of petitioner. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for default. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
