Heard.

The impugned order passed by the 4th respondent refusing to grant mutation in favour of the petitioner is clearly appealable under the A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. Therefore, there is no reason to entertain the writ petition by bypassing the said appellate remedy available to the petitioner. The petitioner is, therefore, at liberty to avail the said appellate remedy.

Since the petitioner counsel states that the time for preferring the appeal has already expired, in the interest of justice, the petitioner is granted time till 31-08-2015 to approach the appellate authority. If any such appeal is filed, the appellate authority shall entertain the same on merits without raising any objection as to limitation.

Subject to the liberty aforesaid, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
