THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 6649 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent No.2-Station House Officer, Tadipathri Town Police Station, Ananthapuramu District, in interfering with the petitioners' personal life and liberty by calling them to the Police Station and pressurising them to settle the dispute with respondent No.3 by paying the value of Hitachi and Lorry to him, in connection with registration of FIR No.179 of 2016.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that investigation in the Crime was completed, a charge-sheet was filed on 08.12.2016 and the same was numbered as C.C.No.706 of 2016 and trial is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Tadipathri. The allegation with regard to the pressure exerted on the petitioners is denied as follows:

"It is submitted that the contentions of the petitioners that at the instigation of respondent No.3, respondent No.2Station House Officer, Tadipathri Town Police Station, Ananthapuramu District interfered in the life, liberty by calling the petitioners to the police station, pressuring them to get the matter settled with respondent No.3-complainant by paying the value of the Hitachi and Lorry and threatened with dire consequences to implicate the petitioners in false cases is not correct and baseless."

In view of the same, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.
