THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE ABHI NAND KUMAR SHAVI LI WRI T PETI TI ON No.5350 of 2007 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the impugned notice, dated 03.03.2007, directing the petitioners to sell their land admeasuring Ac.4.96 cents in Sy.Nos.357/1 and 358/1 of Kutagulla village, Kadiri Municipality, Anantapur District for purpose of distributing the same to the landless poor persons in the form of house sites. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it has been reported by the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition that the respondents had acquired an alternative land and distributed the same to the landless poor persons, and that the respondents had neither acquired the land of the petitioners nor any intention to do so.

Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
