THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K.SURENDER CRIMINAL PETITION No.11664 OF 2023 O R D E R:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitioner/Accused to seeking anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.2497 of 2023, dated 01.11.2023 on the file of the Station House Officer, PS Cyber Crimes (DD), Hyderabad. The offences alleged against him are under Sections 504 and 505 (1)(c) of Indian Penal Code. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/accused and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State and perused the record.

The Company Secretary of TV9 Network filed a complaint with the Assistant Commissioner of Police on 31.10.2023 alleging that this petitioner was making several videos and uploading on to the Youtube. The said videos are defamatory and also insulting the channel i.e.,TV9 Network Since the entire evidence is on record and available online, this Court deems it appropriate to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner/accused subject to the following conditions:

1) The petitioner/accused is directed to surrender before the Station House Officer, PS Cyber Crimes (DD), Hyderabad on or before 04.12.2023. Upon such surrender, the said Station House Officer shall release the petitioner/accused on bail, on his executing personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) for a like sum each to his satisfaction. 2) On such release, the petitioner/accused shall appear before the concerned Station House Officer, ever day, for a period of two

(2) weeks between 10.00 A.M to 1.00 PM and thereafter, as and when required for the purpose of investigation. 3) The petitioner/accused shall abide by the other conditions stipulated in Section 438(2) of Cr.P.C and shall co-operate with the Investigating Officer in investigating the case. 4.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is allowed. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand cancelled.
