THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.2539 of 2014 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and Sri P. Indra Prakash, learned counsel appearing for the 5th respondent. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "....to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the official respondents as illegal, irregular, highhanded, committing dereliction of duty, violating Article 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and provisions of S.C. Atrocities Act as the petitioner also belongs to S.T. Community and consequently direct the official respondents to take action against the 5th respondent, basing on the series of complaints made by the petitioner to the official respondents and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." 3.

During the course of hearing, learned Government Pleader brought to the notice of this Court that after completion of investigation, a final report was filed referring the case as 'lack of evidence' and Crime No.175 of 2012 itself was closed on 08.08.2018. 4.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition. 5.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
