These Writ Petitions are being disposed of by this common order with the consent of the parties.
The petitioners applied for permission under the provisions of G.O.Ms.No.7, dated 16.03.2013 for converting their lands into aqua culture ponds. They have submitted the applications with the required information and their applications are pending consideration before the second respondent. When the second respondent did not pass any orders, the present writ petitions are filed. The application filed by the petitioner in W.P.No.15125 of 2015 is pending for the last five months, whereas, the applications filed by the petitioner in other petitions are pending for more than six months.
In the circumstances, these Writ Petitions are disposed of directing second respondent to consider the applications filed by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with considerations contained in G.O.Ms.No.7, dated 16.03.2013, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
