Heard the learned counsel for petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 3, Smt.Padma Rekha, learned Standing Counsel for 2nd respondent and Sri G.Narender Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for 4th respondent.

Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the 3rd respondent in not deciding the appeal preferred by petitioner on 17-01-2017 challenging the proceedings dt.11-01-2017 of the 2nd respondent terminating the services of petitioner on the ground that he was late by 15 minutes during the visit of the Project Director DWMA, Mahabubnagar on 14-07-2016 in spite of prior intimation.

It is inexplicable that the appeal filed on 17-01-2017 has not been disposed of even though more than 4 months had elapsed since its filing.

Therefore the 3rd respondent is directed to decide the said appeal within four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
