Sri Challa Siva Shankar, Learned Counsel for the petitioners sates that, after the Writ Petition was filed and an interim order of status quo was passed by this Court, the petitioners have been appointed as the Deputy Executive Engineer on a regular basis; consequently, the cause in the Writ Petition no longer survives; and the Writ Petition has become infructuous. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
