HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 14671 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/accused seek to quash the proceedings in CC No. 328 of 2014 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Godavarikhani, registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 323 & 506 r/w 34 IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act (FIR No. 237 of 2013 of Godavarikhani I Town Police Station).

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 04.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Godavarikhani I Town Police Station, Peddapalli District and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 10.11.2016 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in CC No. 328 of 2014 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
