Kesani Venkat Reddy, v. The State Of Telangana
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.28333 of 2018 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed challenging the orders passed by the 2nd respondent in file No.H/1955/2017, dated 01-12-2017, wherein, the petitioners and others were ordered to pay maintenance and the 3rd respondent, who is the applicant therein, was permitted to reside in his own house at Konatalapalli Village.
Admittedly, the petitioner has alternative remedy of appeal under Section 16(1) of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents, Senior Citizens Act, 2007. To that effect, counter affidavit is also filed by the 3rd respondent. In view of the same, I do not see any reason to entertain the writ petition and accordingly, the same is dismissed, since the petitioner has an effective alternative remedy of appeal against the impugned order. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
