THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.11114 of 2017 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief: "......to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction declaring the action of the respondents 2 to 4 in not entertaining the application of the petitioner, for shifting of the license premises and issuing notification for grant of license for 27 months instead of 24 months as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the rules and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 4 to consider the application of the petitioner for shifting forthwith and pass such other or further orders as the Hon'ble Court feels deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case." When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the clarificatory order of the Supreme Court in The State of Tamilnadu v K. Balu and another1, no further orders are necessary.
Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
Consequently, the Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
