The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondentpolice are not taking action on the complaint of the petitioner dated 17-12-2017.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home basing on instructions submits that the complaint of the petitioner was enquired into and found the same to be civil in nature. A letter was also addressed to the petitioner on 09-08-2018 by registered post informing the same, which is disputed by learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, the respondent-police are directed to take appropriate action on the complaint of the petitioner in terms of Apex Court judgment of Lalitha Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh1, if not already taken.
