This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of respondent-police in interfering in the civil disputes and pressurizing him to settle the matter with the unofficial respondents in connection with agricultural property to an extent of Ac.0-30 guntas in Sy.No.69/A/2 (0.07) and Sy.No.234/C/2/4 and Sy.No.234/C/4 situated at Shivunipally village of Ghanpur Station Revenue Mandal of Janagaon District.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader produced written instructions stating that the 4th respondent-Deputy Commissioner of Police has enquired into the allegations made by the petitioner against 6th respondent and found that the allegations made by the petitioner are baseless. It is also stated that basing on the complaint of the 7th respondent, GD entry was made and enquired into and the same was found to be civil in nature. As such, action has been taken on the same. Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent-police not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner except in accordance with law. Further respondent-police are directed not to insist the petitioner to execute documents in favour of unofficial respondents in respect of subject lands.
