O R D E R

The petitioner approached this Court assailing the alleged interference by the police authorities in the civil dispute pending between him and one Dharnraj Singh, the seventh respondent herein, with regard to the agricultural dry land admeasuring Ac.11.20 guntas in Sy.No.97 of Pudur Village and Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. By order dated 15.07.2011, this Court restrained the police authorities from interfering in the civil dispute between the petitioner and the seventh respondent but left it open to them to investigate the cases which had been registered against the petitioner.

In his written instructions dated 07.07.2011 furnished to the Office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, the Sub Inspector of Police, Changmol Police Station, Ranga Reddy District, stated that the seventh respondent had made complaints, on the basis of which Crime No.90 of 2011 under Sections 447 and 506 IPC and Crime No.92 of 2011 under Sections 147, 148, 149, 324, 427 and 447 IPC were registered against the petitioner on the file of Changmol Police Station, Ranga Reddy District. These complaints alleged that the petitioner had criminally trespassed into the lands of the complainant, the seventh respondent, and attacked him with deadly weapons resulting in bleeding injuries. The Sub Inspector further stated that investigation was undertaken in these crimes, wherein the petitioner was shown as accused No.1.

He denied the allegation that the police authorities had ever interfered with the civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the seventh respondent and affirmed that only in the course of investigation into the crimes registered against the petitioner, the police authorities had interacted with him. In the light of the categorical statement made by the Sub Inspector of Police, Changmol Police Station, Ranga Reddy District, that the police authorities are not interfering with the petitioner's civil dispute with the seventh respondent, the writ petition is closed duly taking the said stand on record. The police authorities shall follow the due procedure laid down by law while investigating the crimes registered against the petitioner and shall take appropriate action thereafter in accordance with law.

Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
