THE HONOURABLE SMT. JUSTICE K. SUJANA CRIMINAL PETITION No.12893 of 2025 This criminal petition is filed seeking to modify the condition passed by the learned II Additional Sessions Judge, Hyderabad vide order dated 24.06.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.3036 of 2025 in Crime No.133 of 2025 of PS Gosha Mahal, while granting bail to the petitioners by reducing the surety amount from Rs.20,000/- with two sureties to Rs.5,000/- with one surety.

Mohammed Ghouse Pasha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Arun Kumar Doddla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent-State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was granted bail by the trial Court, but she was unable to arrange the surety amount and the sureties imposed by the trial Court while granting bail as she is eking out her livelihood by doing labour work and she does not have enough resources to

furnish the sureties and therefore, prayed to reduce the same.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted to pass appropriate orders in the petition. 5.

Perused the record.

The petitioner is facing offences under Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances Act. The learned Sessions Judge, while granting bail imposed condition of executing personsal bond for Rs.20,000/- with two sureties for the like sum each. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and in the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to modify the impugned order by reducing the surety amount. 7.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is disposed of modifying the condition of executing personal bonds of Rs.20,000/- with two sureties for the like sum each imposed on the petitioner in the order dated 24.06.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.3036 of 2025 in Crime No.133 of 2025 of PS Gosha Mahal, by the

learned II Additional Sessions Judge, Hyderabad, to the extent of executing personal bonds of Rs.5,000/-with two sureties for the like sum each, one of the sureties shall be local of the petitioner. The other conditions in the impugned order shall remain unaltered.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
