HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR Writ Petition No.15823 of 2011 O R D E R:

This writ petition was filed aggrieved by the alleged inaction of the police authorities on the petitioner's complaint dated 11.5.2011. This complaint was levelled against respondent Nos. 6 and 7.

The Station House Officer, Ravulapalem Police Station, East Godavari

District, addressed written instructions dated 22.6.2011 to the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that upon the petitioner's complaint dated 11.5.2011, an enquiry was undertaken which revealed that the matter was essentially a civil dispute between the petitioner and respondent Nos. 6 and 7 and therefore, the police authorities advised the petitioner to approach the appropriate Court of law for redressal. As the police authorities have taken a decision in the matter not to proceed against respondent Nos. 6 and 7 on the criminal side, it is for the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies as are available to him in law if he wishes to proceed against respondent Nos. 6 and 7 on the criminal side. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to do so, the writ petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
