Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Women Development and Child Welfare appearing for the respondents.

Petitioner was appointed as Anganwadi Helper in Dattaluru, Kanneluru Revenue Village, Jammalamadugu Mandal. As there is a vacancy of Anganwadi Worker in Kanneluru Revenue Village, Jammalamadugu Mandal, petitioner along with others applied to the said vacancy. Though proposals were sent by the Samagra Integrated Child Development Officer on 05.02.2018 to the Project Director, District Women Development and Child Welfare Corporation, the 4th respondent, so far no steps are taken to fill up the said vacancy.

If that being so, the 4th respondent is directed to examine the proposals submitted by the Samagra Integrated Child Development Officer, dated 05.02.2018 for filling up the existing vacancy of Anganwadi Worker and take appropriate decision as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
