THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.5046 of 2017 ORDER:
The petitioner states that he is a businessman dealing with wood and furniture. It appears that there was a complaint against the petitioner and the police are calling the petitioner to the Police Station and harassing him without following due process of law.
It is needless to observe that if a crime is registered against the petitioner, the police have to follow due process of law and not harass the petitioner. If no crime is registered, the petitioner shall not be called to the Police Station, except where the petitioner's presence is required.
With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
The miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
