This petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in CC.No.129 of 2009 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Darsi, Prakasam District.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

The offence alleged, against the petitioner, is under Section 34(a) of the A.P. Excise Act, 1968. There was an interim stay granted by this Court while admitting the case. But now the learned Public Prosecutor reports that the mater has been tried and the accused were acquitted of the offence. Hence, nothing remains in this petition for adjudication.

Hence, recording the statement of the learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
