HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R. KANTHA RAO Writ Petition No.31054 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard Sri Venkateswerllu Kesamsetty, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri B. Mayur Reddy, learned standing counsel for respondent-Corporation.

2 . The petitioner is the driver in the 5th respondent-Depot. While he was operating the bus on 19.12.2014 from Shadnagar to Shiridi at about 22.30 hours, the checking officials of the respondentCorporation exercised the check near Dil Darbar of Naldurga village and found the petitioner in a drunken condition. Thereafter, a charge was framed against the petitioner and an enquiry was held. Ultimately, the petitioner was removed from service by order dated 10.04.2015. Against the said order, the petitioner preferred an appeal to the Appellate Authority and the same was dismissed on 30.07.2015. Thereafter, the petitioner filed a revision before the 2nd respondent on 31.08.2015, which is now pending.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the statements given by the passengers were not considered by the Appellate Authority.

4. In any event, I am not inclined to go into the merits of the case, as I wish to issue a direction to the Revisional Authority to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioner.

5. Consequently, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the revision by taking into consideration the contentions put-forth by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous

petitions, if any, in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
