HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT APPEAL No.271 of 2016 PC: (Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B.Bhosale) This writ appeal is directed against the order dated 23.3.2016 in W.P.

No. 3467 of 2016, whereby, learned single Judge has disposed of the writ petition with the following directions.

"Given the afore-stated fact situation and to protect the interest of the Mosque, this is a fit case for the Wakf Board to assume direct management of the Mosque under Section 65 of the Wakf Act, 1995. The Wakf Board shall accordingly exercise such powers and take over the management of the subject Mosque, pending constitution of a Managing Committee after holding due election. The election process in this regard shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

2. Sri K Mohan Rami Reddy, learned counsel for appellant submits that he was instructed to submit to the Court that elections as directed by the learned single Judge may be conducted after the 'Ramzan' festival i.e., after 6th July, 2016. It is not in dispute that the election process would not take more than a month. If the election process commences now, it will get over in any case before the end of May, 2016. In view thereof, we are not inclined to accept the request/suggestion made by learned counsel for the appellant. He did not argue any other point. Appeal is accordingly dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, stand closed. ___________________________ DILIP B.
