THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.39554 of 2016 O R D E R:

Petitioner had filed this Writ Petition challenging the inaction of the respondents in completing the disciplinary proceedings initiated against him under A.P. Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1991 vide G.O.Rt.No.233 Municipal Administration & Urban Development (Vig.I(2)) Department, dt.20.06.2015. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that even though charge memo has been issued to the petitioner vide proceedings dt.20.06.2015, no further steps have been taken to complete the enquiry and the inaction of the respondents is arbitrary. He therefore seeks a direction to the respondents to complete the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner within a reasonable time.

The Government Pleader for Services appearing for respondents contends that the enquiry proceedings initiated against the petitioner pursuant to the above G.O.Rt. will be completed within a period of four (04) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to complete the enquiry initiated against the petitioner pursuant to the above G.O.Rt.,

in accordance with law, within a period of four (04) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate their decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
