.. Respondents This court made the following :
- 2 - THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.28465 OF 2018 ORDER :
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government pleader for Services -II for learned Government pleader for Medical Health and Family Welfare for respondents.
2.
Petitioner claims that notification No.02/2018 was issued on 19.03.2018 calling for applications for recruitment to the post of Civil Assistant Surgeon (General Duty Medical Officers). Petitioner participated in the selections. The grievance of the petitioner is that as per the recruitment notification, contract service rendered prior to 02.06.2014 is also to be computed towards weightage marks. But in the case of petitioner, the same was not computed thereby depriving him the selection for appointment as Civil Assistant Surgeon.
3.
Paragraph 13 (f) of the recruitment notification envisages awarding of weightage marks for the work rendered as Civil Assistant Surgeon (General Duty Medical Officers) on contract basis in Telangana State and erstwhile Andhra Pradesh State prior to 02.06.2014. It carries maximum of 20 marks. 4.
On instructions, learned Standing counsel though submits that in the application form uploaded by the petitioner he did not disclose the contract service rendered by him prior to 02.06.2014, having regard to the fact that petitioner has now placed on record the material to support that he also worked prior to 02.06.2014, he
- 3 - will be granted appropriate weightage for the service rendered prior to 02.06.2014.
5.
Recording the said submission of learned Standing counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the candidature of petitioner for appointment as Civil Assistant Surgeon by assigning weightage of marks to which he is entitled by counting the service rendered by him on contract basis prior to 02.06.2014 also. Pending miscellaneous petitions, shall stand closed.
