COMMON ORDER:

These contempt cases arise out of common order, dated 21.10.2013, in W.P.Nos.29992, 30000, 30042 and 30046 of 2013. At the hearing, there is no representation for the petitioners. I have heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue (TS) and perused the record.

The petitioners filed W.P.No.29992 of 2013 and batch assailing notices issued under Section 7 of the A.P.Land Encroachment Act, 1905. These writ petitions were disposed of by common order, dated 21.10.2013, wherein while declining to interfere with the notices impugned in the writ petitions, this Court directed the respondent to consider the explanations stated to have been offered by the petitioners objectively, pass an appropriate order and communicate the same to the petitioners. This Court further observed that the

petitioners' possession of their respective plots will not be disturbed by the respondent till such an order is passed. Alleging that without passing any order as directed by this Court, the respondent was seeking to dispossess the petitioners, they have filed these contempt cases.

At the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue (TS) placed before the Court an order in proceedings bearing No.B/1760/13, dated 08.01.2015, passed by the respondent ordering eviction of all the petitioners.

In the light of the above order which is stated to have been passed in case of all the petitioners individually, I do not find any reason to proceed against the respondent in these contempt cases. If the petitioners feel aggrieved by the said order, they shall be free to avail appropriate remedy in accordance with law. Subject to the liberty given to the petitioners as above, the contempt cases are dismissed.
