Smt. V. Meenakshi, learned counsel for the petitioner, filed a letter dated 24.08.2017 before the Registrar (Judicial) stating that the petitioner has passed away and there lies nothing in the writ, hence the writ petition has become infructuous. This request is also reiterated in the Court.

Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
