Kuragayala Jagadeshwar, v. The Gram Panchayat,
HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITION No.27479 of 2008 ORDER:
Sri P.Giri Krishna, Learned Counsel for the petitioner, states that, in identical circumstances with respect to the very same village, this Court, by its order in W.P.No.19273 of 2007 dated 11.09.2007, had directed the respondents not to demolish or dispossess the petitioners without following due process of law.
I consider it appropriate, in such circumstances, to dispose of the writ petition directing the respondents not to take any coercive steps for demolition of any existing structures, or to dispossess the petitioners, except after putting them on notice, and after giving them an opportunity of being heard.
The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. However, in the circumstances, without costs. RAMESH RANGANATHAN, ACJ Date:09.06.2017 usd
