This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of the respondent in not renewing the license of the petitioner bearing No.384/Wgl/2008 issued in Form-B for purchase, sale, storage, for sale of schedule commodities (food grain dealers license) for a further period of two years from 01.04.2013 to 31.03.2015 as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, to direct the respondent to renew the said license for a further period of two years and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

As the said period has already elapsed, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed.
