When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that pursuant to the interim order passed by this Court, fresh service connection was given to the petitioner and therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has not disputed the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

In view of the above, this Court is of the considered view that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.
