HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No.847 of 2017 Order:

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the respondents 2 to 4 in interfering with the civil disputes between the petitioner and the respondents 5 and 6 when the matter is referred to Lok Adalat for settlement.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that on the complaint of the sixth respondent the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada referred the complaint to the police and the police registered Crime No.609 of 2016 on 19.12.2016 and the petitioner herein is shown as Accused No.2. In view of the same, no further orders are necessary in the present Writ Petition. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed. However, it is made clear that the police while investigating the case shall follow due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
