THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.6066 of 2017 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/accused in C.C.No.132 of 2015 on the file of the Court of the II Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Vijayawada.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Andhra Pradesh. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner herein filed Crl.M.P.No.856 of 2017 in C.C.No.132 of 2015, under Section 239 Cr.P.C., on the file of the Court of the II Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Vijayawada. 4.

At the time of hearing, the only relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner is to direct the trial Court to dispose of Crl.M.P.No.856 of 2017 in C.C.No.132 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the main case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned II Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Vijayawada is hereby directed to dispose of Crl.M.P.No.856 of 2017 in C.C.No.132 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
