THE HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI CONTEMPT CASE No.1860 of 2022 O R D E R:

The Contempt Case is filed seeking the following relief: "... to call the respondents to this Hon'ble Court and punish them for their willful and deliberate violation of the orders passed in W.P.No.23198 of 2022 dated 06.06.2022 and ....".

Mr. Prabhunath Vasireddy, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this court by order dated 06.06.2022 in W.P.No.23198 of 2022 directed the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.03.2022 and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks. He submits that in spite of lapse of several months, the respondents failed to act on the representation given by the petitioner in the month of March, 2022. 2.

Mr. M.A.K.Mukheed, learned standing counsel for the respondent municipal corporation submits that they have passed the order on 07.12.2022 stating that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the grant of permission to the unofficial respondent in the writ petition as they have granted the same basing on the prima facie title, he has to approach the competent civil court. Further he does not dispute the fact this order is passed on 07.12.2022.

When this court has given a specific direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a period of four weeks, if the same cannot be concluded within the said time, they should have come before this court seeking extension of time.

However, taking into consideration the submission of the learned standing counsel and cautioning the respondents herein, contempt case is closed as the order dated 06.06.2022 passed by this court is complied with. There shall be no order as to costs.

The miscellaneous applications, if any shall stand automatically closed.
