This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: "to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the Respondents in preventing the unofficial Respondent from digging the fish tanks unauthorisedly in Survey Nos.209 & 210 of an extent of Ac.9-31 Cents situated in Uppuluru Village, Undi Mandal, West Godavari District as illegal, arbitrary and in violation of the Government Orders in vogue and consequently direct the Respondents not to grant permission to the unofficial Respondent for cultivation of aqua culture in Survey Nos.209 & 210 of an extent of Ac.9-31 Cents situated in Uppuluru Village, Undi Mandal, West Godavari District."

When the matter is called, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader for Fisheries (A.P.) that the authorities rejected the application filed by respondent No.6 for grant of provisional permission for aqua culture in the subject land. In support thereof, written instructions furnished by the office of the Deputy Director of Fisheries, West Godavari District, Eluru to the office of the learned Government Pleader have been placed on record. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending consideration, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
