Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the second respondent in not numbering and not taking up the revision petition for hearing against the orders of Revenue Divisional Officer in Case No.A3/ 8470/ 2016, dated 03.10.2016, as illegal and arbitrary'. 4.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the revisional authority to consider the revision filed by him against the order of Revenue Divisional Officer and also the stay application filed along with the revision.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that the respondent-authorities may be directed to dispose of the said

revision and the stay application filed along with the revision, provided the same are in order.

Having regard to the submissions made, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2-Joint Collector, Nizamabad, to dispose of the revision said to have been filed by the petitioners against the orders of the Revenue Divisional Officer in case No.A3/ 8470/ 2016, if it is in order, as early as possible in accordance with law and if there is any stay application pending, the respondent-authorities shall pass appropriate orders in the stay application within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
