SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.7686 of 2013 ORDER:

This petition is filed seeking for quash of the proceedings against the petitioners, who are A2 and A3, in C.C.No.482 of 2011 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Dharmavaram, Anantapur District. The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Sections 498‐A read with Section 34 of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Heard the counsel for the petitioners and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent.

The Public Prosecutor files a memo stating that the matter has been compromised before the Lok Adalat conducted by the Principal Junior Civil Judge, Dharmavaram, on 17.05.2014 and the accused are acquitted on 08.07.2015 by virtue of the said order. 4.

Hence, in view of the above, no further orders are required. 5.

Accordingly, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
