Mr. Ravulapati Sreenivasa Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners may be permitted to file a revision under Section 12 of the Taxation and Finance Rules, before the Kodad Municipality, Nalgonda District, against the issuance of demand bill dated 3.12.2015, impugned in the present writ petition. The writ petition is disposed of as not pressed. It is open to the petitioners to file revision against the demand bill 3.12.2015, impugned in the present writ petition, within a period of two weeks from today and if any revision is filed, the revisional authority shall consider and decide the same as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four months thereafter. Till the revision is filed, no coercive measures shall be taken against the petitioners. It is needless to mention that the revisional authority shall decide the petitioners' revision on merits, in accordance with law. All contentions of the parties are kept open." Consequently, pending miscellaneous applications shall also stand closed.
