This writ petition was filed challenging the appointment of the third respondent as Additional Public Prosecutor to the Court of V Additional Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court), Eluru, West Godavari District vide G.O.Rt.No.1419, Law (L.A & J-Home-Courts.A1) Department, dated 08.09.2011.

A perusal of the said Government Order shows that the appointment was made for a period of three years from the date of taking charge of the post or till expiry of the period of the Fast Tract Court or till termination of his services, whichever is earlier.

3. In view of passage of time, the relief sought in the writ petition has become infructuous.

Hence, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
