Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. With consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

Since this Court is not going into the merits of the case, it may not be necessary to put the 6th respondent on notice. 3.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

"to issue a Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, questioning the action of the 3rd respondent in issuing the pattadar pass books and title deeds in favour of the 6th respondent pending Appeal No.1148/2015 on the file of the Joint Collector by cancelling the same by the 3rd respondent vide proceedings RC No.1941/2012 A dated 19.08.2015 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently set aside the orders of the 3rd respondent."

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks disposal of the appeal filed by the petitioner at the earliest. He further submits that if for any reason, the appeal could not be disposed of, the interlocutory application for stay may be directed to be considered at the earliest.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that the respondent authorities may be directed to dispose of the appeal and the application for stay filed by the petitioner, if the same are still pending.

Having regard to the rival submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent- Joint Collector, to dispose of the Appeal No.1148/2015 filed by the petitioner as early as possible preferably within a period of four (04) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Interlocutory Application filed by the petitioner seeking suspension may be disposed of at the earliest preferably within a period of two (02) to three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _____________________________ JUSTI CE C.
