HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.8517 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, is filed by the petitioners/A-1 to A-6 to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.591 of 2018, on the file of the Court of Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate at Gajwel (for short, 'the Court below'), registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 324 of I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

After arguing the case for awhile, learned counsel for the petitioners requested this Court to direct the Court below to follow the procedure laid down by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma Vs. State of U.P.1. 3.

Acceding to the request of learned counsel for the petitioners, without touching the merits of the case, I find that it is a fit case to issue direction to the Court below to follow the procedure laid down by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma (supra). Accordingly, the Court below is directed to adhere to the guidelines issued in Rajesh Sharma (supra). 4.

With the above directions, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed in consequence.
