O R D E R

Aggrieved by the action of police authorities in not registering the crime based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 30.07.2018 against unofficial respondents 5 and 6 and interfering in civil dispute, the present writ petition is filed.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, submits that in pursuance of the complaint of the petitioner, case in Cr.No.170 of 2018 was registered on the file of Ponnur Urban Police Station on 18.08.2018 against unofficial respondents 5 and 6 and another, for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 323, 506 read with 34 IPC and taken up the investigation. The allegation of the petitioner with regard to interfering in the civil dispute by the police authorities, is denied. Recording the above statement made in the written instructions, writ petition is disposed of.

It is needless to observe that police shall not interfere with the civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the unofficial respondents 5 and 6.

Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
