THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.2150 OF 2018 ORDER:

W.P.No.7808 of 2018 was disposed of on 02.04.2018 granting liberty to the petitioner to make fresh application to the District Collector, Suryapet, with supporting documents requesting to allot him land under the Freedom Fighters' Quota. Alleging inaction on the application submitted pursuant to the order dated 02.04.2018, this Contempt Case is filed.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue produced a copy of the Memo dated 10.10.2018, whereunder the application/ representation of the petitioner dated 07.05.2018 was considered and request for allotment of land is rejected. 3.

In view of the same, it cannot be said that the respondent has violated the directions issued by this Court warranting initiation of contempt proceedings. The Contempt Case is accordingly closed granting liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedy as available in law.
