HCJ & AAR, J W.P. No.28735 of 2018 Dt: 26.12.2019 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Sri Raghvendra Singh Chauhan) Both the learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the issue raised in the present writ petition was equally raised in W.P.No.14010 of 2018 and batch cases related thereto. The learned counsel are also ad idem that by common order dated 08.03.2019, the said writ petitions were dismissed by the learned Coordinate Bench.
The issue involved in the present writ petition as well as in the writ petitions mentioned herein above were with regard to the validity of the State amendment contained in Act No.4 of 2018 brought in to Section 3 of the Telangana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994, and State amendment brought in to Sections 2 and 3 of the Telangana Municipalities Act, 1965. By order dated 08.03.2019, the learned Coordinate Bench had upheld validity of the amendment contained in Act No.4 of 2018.
Therefore, the present writ petition is disposed of in the same terms. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
