This writ petition is filed challenging the inaction of the 4th respondent pursuant to the complaint dated 18-07-2018 inspite of repeated visits made by the petitioner.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader produced written instructions stating that on receipt of complaint of the petitioner, an entry was made in General Diary and the same was enquired into. As it appeared to be non-cognizable offence, permission was sought from the Court on 20-07-2018.

After obtaining permission on 23-07-2018, as a part of investigation, a notice under Section 91/160 Cr.P.C. dated 14-08-2018 was sent to the petitioner through registered post to appear before the investigating agency for recording the statement. The petitioner turned up. It is also stated that two witnesses were examined and their statements were also recorded. The petitioner is yet to be examined.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent-police are directed to take action on the complaint dated 18-07-2018 lodged by the petitioner, since already they have obtained permission from the concerned Court.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. _________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY,J 23-08-2018 Nvl
